Regional Partnership Dinner 2025: Strengthening Collaboration for Nationality Rights and Inclusion Across Asia-Pacific

Nationality for All (NFA) and the Statelessness and Dignified Citizenship Coalition–Asia Pacific (SDCC-AP) organized the Regional Partnership Dinner on 19 November 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The evening brought together leaders and practitioners from civil society, UN agencies, diplomatic missions, academic institutions, and regional networks, creating a warm, dynamic, and inspiring space for dialogue, reconnection, and partnership-building.


A Gathering of Regional Advocates and Allies

We were pleased to welcome 26 participants to the event, including:

  • 10 SDCC-AP Steering Committee and IPAG members, and
  • 16 guest participants representing a diverse range of organizations and institutions.

Their presence enriched the discussions and strengthened the collective commitment to advancing nationality rights and ending statelessness across the region.


Purpose and Highlights

The Partnership Dinner took place alongside the in-person meeting of the SDCC-AP Steering Committee, offering a unique opportunity for shared reflection and strategic engagement. Throughout the evening, participants:

  • Strengthened regional partnerships through informal, trust-building dialogue
  • Exchanged insights on statelessness, nationality rights, and inclusive citizenship
  • Explored collaborative pathways for joint action across the Asia-Pacific region

The convivial setting fostered meaningful conversations that will guide ongoing and future collaborative initiatives.
