Teams from NFA and CAPN recently engaged in a two-day workshop facilitated by Ruwanthie de Chickera and Amal de Chickera, Co-Director of the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI). The first session, led by Ruwanthie on December 19, 2023, centred around mindfulness and team-building. Participants immersed themselves in various exercises aimed at fostering mindfulness and unity within the teams.
Continuing on December 20, Amal de Chickera led a workshop on organisational development. During this session, Amal delved into the history and evolution of ISI. Both NFA and CAPN shared insights into their individual journeys and highlighted the collaborative efforts between them. Amal’s session also offered some valuable suggestions on navigating the journey of scaling an organisation from its startup phase to becoming a more sustainable NGO.
