Gauri holds a law degree from India and a Master’s in International and Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute, with a specialisation in ‘Mobilities, Migrations and Boundaries’. She currently works with the Grand Bargain Secretariat, hosted by the Norwegian Refugee Council in Geneva, a multi-sectoral initiative for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian aid, where one of the focus areas is advancing accountability to affected populations (AAP). With over four years of experience in the migration and displacement sector, Gauri has provided grassroots legal aid and designed and implemented access to justice projects catering to refugees and migrant workers in New Delhi as a Senior Fellow at the Migration and Asylum Project. In Geneva, she has contributed to research, policy, and advocacy efforts with organisations such as Border Forensics and the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF). Her core interests lie in refugee and migrant protection, access to justice, and systemic reform within humanitarian and migration governance.
